We are less than a year old, but we already have our first event behind us!!  We participated in Pasty Fest in Calumet on June 29th,2009   We spoke with visitors to our booth about our group and plans.  We were well received and apparently generated interest.

The Celtic Quarter hosted this year’s Robert Burns Dinner on January 30th, 2010 The dinner was held at the Rhuneberg Hall in Dollar Bay.  Dinner included Prime Rib with all the traditional fixings including Haggis.  Also featured were Pipers and Drummers and Highland Dancers from Superior Pipes and Drums.

June 18th , 2010 saw us march with the Bridgefest Parade from Houghton across the bridge to Hancock.  Need less to say we had dancers and pipers and flags flying.  Then June 26th , 2010 we made a showing at Pasty Fest in Calumet where we were told we had a “spectacular” booth.
